"My painting was inspired by a personal photo taken during a trip in the Smoky Mountains on the Tail of the Dragon Trail. The waterfall was found during a short walk off of the trail. I was stunned by the beauty of water, sunlight and shadows. I had to paint it." -Nanette

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a United States National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site that straddles the ridgeline of the Great Smoky Mountains, part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are a division of the larger Appalachian Mountain chain.

Nanette shares an art studio with her artist husband, Mohamed Drisi, the Drisi Studio of Fine Art located in Glenwood, Illinois. She does creative paintings, portraits, landscapes and still life.
