Big Cypress National Preserve is a United States National Preserve located in southern Florida, about 45 miles west of Miami. The 720,000-acre Big Cypress, along with Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas, became the first national preserves in the United States National Park System when they were established on 11 October 1974.

Hannah Ineson has painted and shown her Everglades art in Southwest Florida for over 11 years. She has had solo shows in three of the five Collier County Museum galleries and was Artist-in-Residence in the Big Cypress National Preserve.
